OBAMA GREAT MAN SO-SO PRESIDENT

OBAMA GREAT MAN SO-SO PRESIDENT

i voted for obama. i thought he was the exact opposite of bush. obama was bright on the ball, knew what had to be done, and was the right man at the right time for the job.
now in the white house, i look at obama and think, the man is a great great man. he is human funny bright, well spoken, and a natural leader.
however, as far as being a president? i don’t know i just don’t know. i think as life goes on i am losing my belief in liberals and moving towards independant ways.

i like ron paul, i mean i really like him, he has balls big big balls, and he has anger, and i like anger and balls, that makes for getting the job done. i believe president obama is too soft, and should start taking control, start letting things die naturally, and start within the concerns of healthcare, and big issues rather than what he has been doing which is too many a bail out for my liking.

so to sum up, i think obama is the best person we ever had in the white house, but i wish he would hire ron paul to clean up bush’s mess.

I will agree that Ron Paul definitely has some balls.

  2. Will Rand says:

Why in light of Obama’s actions would you still say he’s the “best person we ever had in the White House”? Better than, say, George Washington or any president in history?

    What gives?

Are we really to think Obama means well? More than any other president? Is smarter?

The reality is on many issues Obama is Bush writ large. Bush spent too much. Obama is tripling that irresponsibly. Bush expanded government, such as the No Child Left Behind Act, the prescription drug benefit and the Dept of Homeland Security. Obama is expanding it even more.

Bush pressured Israel to give up Gaza. Obama says give up Jerusalem and oh yeah, it’s OK if Iran has nukes.

Even on things like Iraq, war, Gitmo, etc,….Obama is basically following Bush’s strategy, whether that’s good or not…..who knows for sure?

On transparency, Obama is just as secretive. He just says he’s transparent while doing the opposite.

On bail-outs, Obama is identical except worse.

Exactly in what way is Obama cleaning up “Bush’s mess”?

Nicely said Will. I challenge anyway to list 10 “W” programs Obama has actually changed since he’s been in office. (Note: Not said he’s going to and then changed his mind)

I’m sorry, Silas – I accidentally deleted your comment here. I’ll work on trying to retrieve it. My apologies!

  5. I did not vote for Obama for two reasons.
The most visible and obvious was his thin
resume, he was the least experienced of
    all the Democrats running.
Second, which weighs heavily in my decisions are “words”, what he said. Transforming our nation, poking fun at citizen groups (gun owners, religious), those who “cling to
    guns and religion”.
Obama’s words were not encouraging, empty
    rhetoric, without substance, etc.
After 18 months, it is sad to say what I saw, a weak, poor executive, quick to lean towards his political biases rather than approach problems from a pragmatic perspective. Time will tell the total cost other then the record debt, and longest running unemployment.
